E. M. Dorsey is an indie speculative fiction writer of twisted modern folktales, urban fantasy creatures in unconventional settings (like space), light horror, and dystopian fiction. Ongoing Serial is Dorsey’s debut experimental storysite project with protagonists Amy and Jack.

Dorsey enjoys putting unconventional spins on classic tropes and brainstorming “what if this was done differently?…” about any story that crosses her path. When not writing or world-building she writes about multiple interests on her personal blog.

Ongoing Serial is a story about a villain protagonist’s life. A young woman who uses her best friend as a moral compass and whose humanity is pretty shoddy even on a good day. It asks, “What if we got to see the backstory and choices that lead up to the overpowered evil characters in the movies and books we watch, and should they get redemption?”
